Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionising industries and academia, necessitating their adaptation to integrate AI into workflows and curricula in order to keep their employees and students prepared for the future. In this line, institutions begin investing considerable resources in their research and experiments. On the other hand, design has always had difficulty finding a shared definition since its inception as an academic subject. Complex issues embedded in a design problem are often referred to as a wicked problem, emphasising the uniqueness of the challenge. A designer is trained to broaden his or her scope in such a manner that he or she can solve a variety of problems in a coherent and creative manner. Solving wicked problems has become increasingly difficult as they become more complex and heterogeneous in nature, and designers often refer to sources of inspiration. In this way, the introduction of machine learning and the development of AI has led to a wide range of search engines and tools that help designers find inspiration. From a given text, creating a realistic and semantically consistent image is becoming increasingly popular in the design process. The chapter proposes a framework that will assist in creating text prompts for generating meaningful stimuli in AI in the field of interior architecture.
