What Is Pandemic
Abstract
The coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) tests the global economy, livelihoods and physical and mental well-being. This study aims to assess the mental health of the general population in seven Asian countries (China, Iran, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam) with average income (MIC) during the epidemic. Mental health was assessed in all countries using the Modified Events Impact Scale (IES-R) and the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21). 4,479 Asian questionnaires were completed, including demographic information, physical signs and health use, communication history, knowledge and concerns, precautions, IES-R and DASS mental health assessments-21. The most important factors in preventing social spread are hand hygiene, social distance and self-isolation. Determining other COVID-19 patients online with an additional payment option will help reduce relapses with strict quarantine rules. This review chapter is based on a discussion of various past epidemics in India, with a particular focus on COVID-19. The current global emergency is a wake-up call for scientists and researchers working in health and medicine, especially in health. Countries like India are using technology as a means of security in this crisis. This chapter also includes mathematical and simulation studies of the global pandemic, focusing on COVID-19. Therefore, the current review summarizes the epidemics and past epidemics in India, focusing on the new COVID-19 and its technical aspects.
