Conclusion
Abstract
This concluding chapter shows how the Spanish right’s political discourse on Israel has shifted from wary ambivalence to overt support and symbolic alliance. Tracing the trajectory established throughout the book, it demonstrates how Israel’s image was strategically recast to serve evolving ideological goals. This transformation not only redefined Spain’s foreign policy priorities but also reflected the right’s search for legitimacy and identity in a post-authoritarian era. The analysis underscores that such discursive realignments are intentional, context-driven, and reveal the power of narrative in political self-reinvention.
