Abstract

This chapter traces the transnational, translocal and decolonial approaches in current feminist work in and on translation. It reviews definitions, and current academic work, including the challenge posed by English as the lingua franca in this field that seeks to cross and even erase boundaries. Finally, it examines new developments such as feminist interpretation and digital translation projects that are broadening the reach of transnational feminist translation studies.
