Abstract

This chapter studies the criticisms that have struck feminist advances in translation and translation studies, from outside feminist environments but also from within them. It acknowledges the challenges associated with experimental neologistic language and its translation and the dangers of ongoing colonialist attitudes as Anglo-America universalizes its version of feminism and imposes it via translation of and on other cultures’ texts.
