Abstract

Can we create a world where, instead of being forced to flee from one’s home because of violence, poverty, and environmental degradation, everyone can flourish in place or move where they want and thrive? Radicals have long argued such a world is both desirable and achievable. To create such a world, radicals maintain, we must abolish the destructive systems that block it from being realized, and through a democratic process, build an equitable world on foundations of solidarity and justice.
