Sport and Youth Development in France during the Decade 2014–2024
Abstract
The development of sport among youth in France is the particular result of the joint evolution of offer and demand which currently influences their level of commitment and their ways of consuming sports. Apart from compulsory school sport, we observe new relationships of young French people to active leisure and a “boom” in the offer related to new technologies, new networks, and new sociabilities.
