Abstract

This chapter offers a range of easy-to-try strategies to enhance training accessibility. It raises awareness of the different ways people may access their learning and absorb information. We explore the experiences of visually impaired participants in training and consider strategies to support a learner&s;s navigation to the training space. Checklists are offered to help you to proactively set up a training space. We learn to signpost facilities in an inclusive way to make sense for learners with differing needs. The chapter demonstrates how the timing, length, format, structure and learning tools you choose to use can enhance or hinder the experience for neurodivergent and disabled participants.
