Abstract

Francesco Facciolli traces his journey as an artist, beginning with his family, then under the influence of many important modern figures, including Claudia Contin Arlecchino and Matteo Destro, toward his rendering of the Commedia dell’Arte character Pulcinella, a character he explores in both literary and practical aspects, discovering a robust Neapolitan heritage and remarkable artistic flexibility in the beloved figure.
