Abstract
Paige Allerton describes her approach to Commedia dell’Arte and the varying factors that shaped her aesthetics, including her work with Carlos Garcia Estévez, and her experiences creating two solo performances using commedia masks: Good Boy and Rachel. Along the way, she discusses her proximity with the Sartori and Lecoq families and addresses the nature of Spatial Dramaturgy and its relationship with the mask.
