Michele Modesto Casarin and Emanuele Pasqualini discuss their careers, their experiences working with Carlo Boso and TAG Teatro, and the founding of their Commedia dell’Arte company Pantakin, in Venice, Italy. Together they explore the nature of creating modern commedia, the challenges of working with contemporary students and actors, and the ineffable qualities of the leather commedia mask.
