Abstract

As varieties of Englishes are evolving, output on these varieties is as well. This contribution focusses on how corpus-linguistic research results and corpus data can be used to produce digital teaching and learning materials on varieties of English. In doing so, technological, pedagogical and content knowledge components will be addressed in relation to the TPACK framework and the project described here. By outlining the linguistic set-up of the project, the relevance of corpus data will be emphasised. This contribution concludes by stressing the importance of real-world data from corpora and technological advances for the teaching of varieties of English.
