Afterword
Abstract
This afterword places Britain&s;s labour-market crisis within an international frame, contrasting its liberal trajectory with coordinated systems that sustain stronger protections and social partnership. It shows how decades of deregulation, financialisation and moralised austerity have produced managed decline, and calls for a renewed political economy that restores dignity, stability and opportunity to young men at the sharpest edge of precarity.
