Conclusion
Abstract
As we conclude this book, we urge the reader to draw together all the strategies, theory and research that we’ve shared throughout, which we believe will contribute to an understanding of the critical links between emotional wellbeing, child development and the role of the adult. We urge you to consider the ‘expectation gap’ ( Zero to Three 2016 ) and how moving from a behaviourist approach to a ‘relational’ pedagogy, can support our children now and in the future.
