Restorative Clubs + Author Visits
Abstract
Clubs and author visits have incredible potential in our schools to be spaces where students experience engagement, safety, and belonging. Unfortunately, they also have the potential to be structurally inequitable for students who are unable to participate due to finances or schedules. The chapter outlines how important it is to structure clubs and author visits with an equity lens, with specific examples and ideas.
