Abstract

This study concludes by emphasizing the importance of community, collaboration, and inclusive practices in education. Despite facing challenges, the school has made significant strides through focusing on professional learning communities, restorative practices, and universal design—each contributing to a more equitable, student-centered environment. The application of theoretical frameworks such as Disability Critical Race Studies and Disability Studies in Education has illuminated systemic inequities and reinforced the necessity of ongoing structural change. The school has recognized that true inclusion requires viewing all students as capable and ensuring that both general and special education work together toward the success of every learner, embodying a holistic approach to education. This journey underscores the crucial need for continuous educational reform, centering the voices of educators and students and fostering an environment where every child is valued, supported, and empowered to become a reflective, engaged, and global citizen.
