Beyond the Book
Abstract
Media and cultural studies are two key fields that complement literary analysis. This chapter is thus divided into two interrelated parts that discuss Latinx representations in the media (television, film, video games, social media) and in the real world (fashion, music, celebration). In weaving media and culture together, we underscore the formative power of Latinxs, who are often at the forefront of cultural revolution.
