Preparing for an Adventure
Abstract
The last three chapters of this book are the implementation process to guide you through designing a teacher-friend mentoring plan (this chapter), designing and implementing the plan ( Chapter 9 ), and reflecting on the plan once you and/or your teacher-friend have met your goal/destination ( Chapter 10 ). This chapter develops the trekking metaphor and provides space and prompts for you to think broadly about what you would want to explore for professional development. This chapter also discusses what you might want to pack for a successful adventure.
