Abstract

The trekking metaphor provides an active and collaborative model for graceful change. This chapter prompts teacher-friends to look back on their adventure, reflecting on what they gained, the problems they addressed, and how they feel physically and emotionally different. Reflection is a powerful tool for challenging assumptions and identifying passions to create new or clear paths to a satisfying career. This chapter also invites teacher-friends to consider beliefs as they look ahead to the next adventure.
