A New Integrated Theoretical Model of Stakeholder Response to Corporate Social Advocacy
Abstract
This chapter introduces a new comprehensive conceptual model of CSA to better understand and predict individuals’ attitudinal and behavioral responses to CSA. This chapter covers theories and theoretical frameworks used in CSA research to identify important determinants of stakeholders’ reactions to CSA. Company, stakeholder, and communication factors are discussed to develop effective CSA strategies and messages. This chapter proposes a new theoretically driven model that provides a holistic view of stakeholders’ responses to CSA.
