Abstract
This chapter explores the evolving landscape of digital security. It distinguishes digital security from cybersecurity and digital trust. The chapter demonstrates how leading firms are shifting from compliance-based, reactive security to user- and resilience-driven, proactive approaches. The chapter discusses threat responses and how companies need to manage and recover from cybersecurity incidents. Finally, it addresses emerging threats, including Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven attacks, Ransomware-as-a-Service (RaaS), Internet of Things (IoT) vulnerabilities, and insider risks.
