Don't Ask Me Where I'm from. Ask Me Where I'm a Local
Abstract
This chapter is a personal reflection on the twenty years in the UK and a career within higher education. The author came to the UK as a student and, after completing her PhD, took different teaching roles at various universities. Later, she progressed to leadership roles within Professional Services. In this chapter, she reflects on her journey and how, due to her unusual career path, she discovered that the in-between, the Third Space, was where she thrives.
