Abstract

The main aims of this book are to (1) increase awareness of the existence of many different components of attention and executive function and control as well as their role in everyday life; (2) highlight the fact that many older adults living with various types of dementia can also be living with significant changes in attention beyond those expected for cognitively healthy ageing; and (3) emphasise the everyday and clinical impact of attention-related dysfunction.
