Abstract
We've covered a lot of ground in this book. We've talked about how boys learn misogyny, from playground whispers to algorithm-fed social media spirals. We've looked at the pressures that come with being a boy – how the rules of toughness, emotional suppression, and sexual bravado are passed down like unwanted hand-me-downs. We've unpacked pornography, incel culture, algorithms, the normalisation of sexual harassment, and the way even ‘jokes’ can reinforce something far more serious. And we've examined how schools, often without meaning to, facilitate the perfect environment for these ideas to fester.
