Abstract

Emmanuel was born in Asante Mampong, Ghana, and he is the first of four children born to Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Anokye Nkansah, a minister with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. The Presbyterian upbringing he received from infancy has shaped his life and continues to guide his decisions and choices. Emmanuel Anokye Nkansah considers himself a budding researcher with some experience in the corporate industry, teaching, and conducting research. He has gathered some experience in Ghana’s human resource consulting space, having worked with two thriving consulting firms. He is a member of the Ghana Psychological Association and served as the national student representative on the National Executive Committee. Currently, his application for a license as an Industrial and Organisational Psychologist has been approved and is awaiting to be inducted by the Ghana Psychological Council. He has presented several papers at academic conferences and has two academic papers to his credit, with several papers under review and at various stages of completion. He is positioning himself as a voice in the marketplace of ideas, particularly within the organisational psychology space. His research interests lie in innovative forms of work, including the gig economy and, recently, the interaction between neuropathic pain and organisational behaviours. He obtained all his higher education credentials from the University of Ghana. The final confirmation of his PhD will complete the triple alumnus badge.
