Conclusion
Abstract
In this brief conclusion, I draw together examples of all the types covered in the manuscript in more mainstream venues. I also point to examples of their continued presence in recent popular performances, such as musical comedies, film, and television, in order to demonstrate their persistence and continuing centrality to US culture.
