Abstract

This chapter introduces a structured yet adaptive framework for leading high-stakes initiatives in uncertain environments. Rather than treating ambiguity as a temporary obstacle, it recognizes uncertainty as the expected norm for innovation. It covers the three pillars of Innovation Strategy, each designed to address a critical failure point common to struggling projects: unclear or conflicting objectives, erosion of confidence among teams or stakeholders, and the inability to deliver usable outcomes. By reframing project leadership around responsiveness and clarity, Innovation Strategy enables leaders to guide initiatives through complexity—toward results that actually matter.
