Financial leadership
Abstract
The individual members of the group experience disparities in their demographic profiles, including access to education, income levels, parental education, and financial literacy. These factors are crucial for the economic inclusion of marginalized communities. Addressing these inequities requires a strategic response that involves the interaction of individual and social identities. Therefore, it is imperative to cultivate social capital among group members. Social capital and collective identities can significantly boost motivation and foster financial leadership within these communities. This chapter explores the role of social capital and collective identities in promoting financial leadership among marginalized communities.
