Abstract

Inclusivity begins with recognising each student as a unique character in their own unfolding narrative – and finding ways to inspire those stories to be shared. This chapter explores how storytelling can cultivate learning environments that honour every voice and reflect the richness of diverse lived experiences. Through the metaphorical tale of a young, passionate academic engaged in heart-led dialogues with Shakespeare and Rowling in her imagined world, the classroom is reimagined as a stage where every learner plays a meaningful role. When empathy, imagination, and belonging are woven into the fabric of teaching, classrooms become spaces where difference is not only embraced but celebrated – where creative friction fuels innovation and inclusion. Such story-shaped, soul-led classrooms hold the potential to plant seeds of a more just, compassionate, and imaginative world – nurturing future marketers whose leadership is grounded in empathy, creativity, and a deep sense of shared humanity.
