Final comments
Abstract
So, the medical model appears to have some serious and impactful shortcomings when it comes to conceptualising and responding to people’s emotional worlds. There are other ways of approaching these issues that may be more holistic, compassionate and beneficial for us all in the long run. I have demonstrated three main points about mental health that require further understanding and attention for any helping profession.
