Introduction
Abstract
The book The Economics of Gender Inequality in Latin America represents a collective contribution to the critical analysis of gender inequalities in the labor sphere from an interdisciplinary perspective, with particular emphasis on feminist economics and the social sciences. This volume is composed of 13 chapters that, through diverse theoretical and methodological approaches, explore how the sex-gender system shapes women’s economic participation and reproduces structures of discrimination, precarization, and exclusion in Latin America and beyond.
