Preliminary Sessions to Develop Basic Social Skills
Abstract
The plans in this chapter focus on getting children enthused about a Circle of Support and accustomed to its format. The middle section of each circle session is usually floor based. The plans emphasise the five learning skills of looking, listening, speaking, thinking and concentrating; understanding and practising these will help the children both inside and outside the circle.
