Abstract

Examined through the dual lens of human and artificial intelligence, this chapter explores how generative systems extend cultural research and foresight. It employs Culture Mapping, VUCA, and Alternative Futures to examine how intelligence operates across human and machine systems. Through a global sportswear case, it shows how youth redefined sport as self-actualization, revealing that foresight emerges from decoding signals at the cultural edge. An applied digital analysis, The Future of Rebellion in Africa, models how youth movements transform volatility into systems of civic innovation. These inquiries position AI as both mirror and medium, reflecting humanity’s evolving codes. Intelligence, in this frame, is not computation alone but an ethical, interpretive synthesis of human context and machine pattern recognition.
