Abstract

Creating lasting change in the fight against intimate partner violence (IPV) requires a sustainable framework that integrates the efforts of governments, NGOs, and communities. This chapter explores strategies for fostering collaboration among key stakeholders to develop impactful, long-term solutions that empower survivors and prevent violence. By examining successful models, it highlights the importance of adaptability, cultural relevance, and community-driven approaches. A critical aspect of sustainability is the ability to measure the effectiveness of empowerment initiatives. The chapter discusses key evaluation methods, including data collection, impact assessments, and survivor-centered feedback mechanisms. These tools help ensure that interventions remain responsive, efficient, and scalable. Case studies of programs that have successfully expanded their reach provide insights into best practices for adaptation across different social and economic contexts. Additionally, this chapter emphasizes the role of policy reform, funding stability, and capacity-building in sustaining change. It explores how governments and organizations can create an ecosystem where empowerment programs thrive through education, economic support, and legal protections. By outlining a roadmap for long-term impact, this chapter advocates for a future where collaboration, accountability, and innovation drive meaningful progress in ending IPV and fostering empowerment on a global scale.
