Tracking Ten Healing Plays Through the SomatoDrama Effect Model – or, the ‘Drama’ of the Body
Abstract
In this chapter, readers are immersed in the world of SomatoDrama through ten Healing Plays that not only can leave us with emotional imprints and insights but also reveal, step by step, how the method induces the real change in the individuals. These therapeutic processes are brought to life through cinematic visual representations in dimensional drawings and supported by quantified data – bridging subjective experience with scientific observation. The chapter encourages readers to engage with the Plays both in the mind and the body. The case studies are demonstrated through the lens of the SomatoDrama Effect Model, following a structured process analysis. Specific variables are used to track changes in participants’ physical and mental states, offering a rare, data-informed glimpse into how embodied transformation can unfold within a therapeutic framework. This combination of personal depth and methodological purity allows the reader to witness SomatoDrama not just as a playful yet well-structured healing experience, but as a process with measurable psychological and somatic outcomes.
