Abstract

This chapter explores the effectiveness of SomatoDrama through the lens of psychometric analysis. In a concise and accessible manner, the author presents statistical findings that reflect measurable changes in participants’ psychological states – particularly in anxiety levels (neuroticism) and self-concept scales, including body image, too. By grounding the method's impact in the pre-Play and post-Play phases with measured results, the chapter offers a bridge between the experiential depth of the previous case narratives and the scientific rigor expected in empirical research. Readers with a general interest in psychology can easily get the core insights, while those with a deeper curiosity for statistics are invited to explore the detailed analyses provided in the Appendix linked to this chapter. The results support the claim – in the framework of the pilot study – that SomatoDrama fosters real, measurable transformation, and this section functions as both a summary of evidence and a gateway to more details. In doing so, it further strengthens the integrative approach of the book – honoring both subjective experience and objective validation of self-awareness and healing itself.
