Abstract

This chapter introduces the various elements of the High Performance Learning (HPL) Framework. It identifies: a) the style of high-performing student that the HPL framework enables a school to produce, b) The key ‘success’ competencies that need to be built over time if a high percentage of students are to become high performers, and c) the culture, pedagogy and style of education leaders need to adopt within the school in order to make the High Performance Learning Framework effective. This chapter also looks at why each element is important in creating the HPL eco-system in a school.
