Abstract
This is the first book-form research report of the nineteenthcentury sensational religio-politico-literary Aruṭpā-Maruṭpā feud of censures and counter-censures—written, oral and legal. Uran Adigal, a renowned Vaḷḷalār scholar, said on several occasions that he would write a separate book on this topic, but did not, nor will he do it, as he is no more.
