Abstract

This concluding chapter recaps the core consequences of the algorithmic interpretation framework: the erosion of political agency, the weaponization of the Holocaust as a tool of collective shame, and the paradox of neo-Kahanism achieving political success through theological betrayal (i.e., moderation). The chapter then expands this theoretical lens, arguing that the algorithmic interpretation is a structural pattern common to religious extremist movements globally. It analyzes how this logic (mythologized golden age, binary code, prioritization of internal enemies) provides psychological immunity to empirical failure. The conclusion suggests counter-extremism strategies must address the underlying trauma that makes this certainty appealing and exploit the inherent tension between ideological purity and the compromises required for political power.
