Abstract

Chapter 3 conducted research that confirmed changes in the labour market related to the development of the digital economy and identified the main challenges resulting from the implementation of artificial intelligence tools. This enabled the study in Chapter 4 to address the impact of artificial intelligence development, which directly affects various social groups. Chapter 4 begins by explaining the concept of social exclusion resulting from the digital divide. It then presents selected actions taken by organisations, institutions, and governments in the areas of regulating the use of AI, safety, and human protection. The final area of research addresses ethical challenges related to the widespread use of artificial intelligence tools. Ethical aspects point to, among other things, threats arising from the widespread use of AI tools that can directly affect people. The topic of responsibility in the use of AI also emerges.
