Abstract

This chapter summarizes the findings from our research in an area of strategic national importance. The UK Defense sector is made up of four operational areas: Navy, Army, Air Force and Nuclear. We looked at the relationships with organizations that provide support services. These include procurement of new systems, engineering design, maintenance and modification services and the supply of spare parts and repairs.
