Abstract

Retail supply chains are made up of the processes, players, places and data flows involved in taking raw materials all the way through the production of consumer goods and getting them to the end customers. We examined 18 major retailing supply chain relationships involving companies and organizations operating in the United Kingdom and global domains. This report summarizes the findings from our research. It does not concentrate on the individual projects but rather on the particular management features that characterize these relationships.
