A Target Operating Model for Collaborating
Abstract
A Big Myth is ‘we are collaborating so we don’t need to do anything more’. Organizations realize that in order to get things done, they need to work with others. This is particularly visible in the voluntary sector. The idea has also been used by big business announcing joint projects which boost their share value. However, very few of these efforts make the grade because normal operations cannot cope with the extra load that hits the organizations as a whole. And yet, ‘collaboration’ still continues to be the buzzword to use.
