Abstract
This book forms part of the Routledge Practice Manuals for Busy People series, alongside Values-based Practice ( Thompson and Moss, 2026a ). Both manuals highlight the significance of such core values as equality, diversity, inclusion, social justice and dignity. I see these as fundamental to best practice across the human services and in management and leadership across all sectors.
