Ethical Sourcing
Abstract
In light of the increased scrutiny of human rights issues in global supply chains, a number of healthcare institutions undertook a comprehensive and months’-long process to review their present sourcing policies and procedures. As part of this review, they earmarked policies versus international best practices to ensure that those new ethical practices are consistent with the latest international guidance.
