Abstract

Based upon the lack of healthcare equity and the continued crisis of climate change, the health-care supply chain is in the midst of attempting to fix a broken supply chain system of delivering medical supplies to where they are needed and used. The healthcare supply chain has always been vulnerable to disruptions with patient care consequences. Shortages of medical supplies and equipment highlight the fragility of the healthcare supply chain.
