Supply Chain Is the Key to Non-Acute Care Expansion
Abstract
Over 2025, the University of Chicago Medical School in conjunction with Cardinal Health has attempted to expand locations for non-acute care facilities. In 2026, through combined efforts, they expect to add one to two more non-acute physician practice locations. When this program began, one of the growth challenges was to support the non-acute sites with an acute organization structure and strategy.
