Epilogue
Abstract
While doing the final proofs of this monograph, I received (June 4, 2025) my copy of Digital Scholarship in the Humanities (41.1, 2025). There are two articles in this issue that again brought home to me the real need for practitioners to be made aware of and realize the importance of controlling for confounding variables – especially genre. But even more troubling is that some number of gate-keeping reviewers for the journal gave their nihil obstat to these two articles.
