Abstract

This chapter begins by systematically considering and discussing the questions raised by each of the minimally speaking participants in the research, specifically in relation to research involvement. Music therapy, as a process of inquiry, is discussed, including the imbalance of representation and gaze. Good practice in ethical thinking, in PAR practices, research validity and participation are explored, and the limitations of the research are considered. The chapter concludes with recommendations on how good research practice could be developed further.
