Abstract
The Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-item scale (GAD-7; Spitzer et al., 2006 ) is a widely used tool to screen for anxiety. In 2010, Pfizer made the GAD-7 available at no charge. You can download the free questionnaire directly from the Anxiety & Depression Association of America (ADAA), or find it online—for instance, via Patient.info.
